With the rise of technology, each week sees more and more bands streaming their shows online or performing special acoustic sets specially for their fans who might not be able to see their favourite band on tour. Stageit, which seems to be the current stage of choice with shows being played by the likes of William Beckett (ex-The Academy Is), Jon Walker (ex-Panic! At The Disco), Nick Santino (A Rocket To The Moon) and The Ready Set, has proven that there’s certainly a demand for online shows.

Over the weekend, New Jersey rockers The Gaslight Anthem announced they would be following suit and will be doing a live acoustic session and chat on the 24th July at 3PM EDT through Livestream.

According to the announcement, the live session is to be a celebration of the band’s upcoming album, Handwritten, which is set to be released on July 24th. The new music video for the title track was premiered just before the announcement of the online show.
