If you are already on the edge of your seat waiting for the release of The Dark Knight Rises, then perhaps throw a pillow on the floor before you watch this newly released 13-minute featurette, because chances are your enthusiasm will tip you off the edge.

With just over a week until The Dark Knight Rises hits Australian cinemas, Warner Brothers have released a 13-minute clip featuring behind the scenes footage, a collection of snippets from the film, as well as interviews with director Christopher Nolan and all leading cast members and some production crew. This all combines to gives audiences the best idea so far of what they can expect from the film, but at the same time leaves new questions unanswered and gives expectant fans reason to be more eager than ever.

Possibly the most exciting seconds of the clip are when Nolan states that The Dark Knight Rises is, “The biggest film that he has ever undertaken… by far.” A statement like this from a man who has been responsible for two of the biggest and most visually stunning films to hit our screens in recent years (Inception and The Dark Knight) means that from this film we should expect nothing short of epic.
