Snoop Dogg Releases Dance Compilation
It’s often said that everyone’s a DJ these days, all you need is a Mac Book and hands to create electronic music. Fans of EDM know this isn’t true, despite the fact that we see big name stars starting side projects in the genre left right and centre. The latest big name to have a shot is Snoop Dogg, Snoop Lion or DJ Snoopadelic. No matter what name you choose to call him by, the truth remains the same: Snoop Dog has released a dance compilation titled Loose Joints. At least we can take comfort in the fact that DJ Snoopadelic has chosen not to produce this album alone.
DJ Snoopadelic made the announcement that the compilation was complete and provided a link to stream it on his Twitter.
The compilation has been a while in the making. Several months ago, DJ Snoopadelic, told fans that he was planning on making a dance compilation. He asked fans and those in the industry to make submissions; the best of which would find themselves on Loose Joints. Naturally, thousands of people submitted thousands of tracks, but with only 12 spaces on the compilation, DJ Snoopadelic had to choose carefully. Choosing both big names and smaller ones to be on the compilation, the result is a genuine mix of his techno and EDM favourites.
