No Doubt have announced that their long awaited 6th studio album will be titled Push And Shove and will be released on September 25th.

The highly anticipated follow up to their 2001 release Rock Steady, was initially intended to be completed before the end of last year, however the date was pushed back in order to “make sure it’s the best album we can possibly make”.

The band will be premiering the first single from the album entitled Settle Down on July 16th.

No Doubt made the following announcement on their website:

“Hi Everyone… Hope you are sitting down because we’ve got some really big news to share with you! While adding the finishing touches to our new album we realized it was time to name it…so we did, and the name is…(drum roll please)…Push and Shove !!! We also want to let you know that the first single from Push and Shove will be “Settle Down” and we’ll be filming the video for it this week with our longtime friend and collaborator Sophie Muller. Very exciting! We can’t wait to share it all with you. See you out there soon. Oh and P.S…Webisode #2 is on it’s way. Stay tuned!

With Sophie Muller on board who previously directed their videos for Don’t Speak and Underneath It All, we can probably expect some old school No Doubt vibes. However we are hoping that the band will produce something a little different production-wise having enlisted Major Lazor, aka the almighty Diplo to work with them on the album.
