NEW MUSIC: Frank Ocean ft. Tyler, The Creator – Golden Girl

Mr Ocean has truly had a week to remember; dropping his debut album Channel Orange whilst showing an extreme amount of courage in a traditionally homophobic hip-hop community (which Frank is very much entwined with).
The album itself is shaping up to be something of a masterpiece within the annals of Odd Future releases and sees Frankie continuing to push boundaries both sonically and lyically.
However, if the collabs with Three Stacks and Earl on the record weren’t enough to satiate your tastebuds, the neo-soul crooner has given an incentive to the diminishing few that value albums in their tangible form.
OF figurehead Tyler, The Creator – aka Wolf Haley aka Ace aka A Fucking Table - joins his ‘bigger brother’ Frankie on Golden Girl, a hidden track that appears at around the 3:55 mark on the final track End.
With an ambient, upbeat tone that fits in very closely with the album’s overall aesthetic,Tyler brings to the table his trademark screwed vocals that he first popularized on earlier tracks, Pigs Fly and VCR.
