New Chrome Extenstion ‘De-Babyfies’ Your Facebook

Are you sick of those friends who are so obsessed with their kids that they feel the need to share every aspects of the child’s existence on Facebook? Had enough of the uber-excited parents who flood your news feed with photos of their kid sleeping, eating, and even on the toilet?
If you answer (hell) yes to the above, then you’re in luck. Chris Baker, author of The Elements of Fucking Style and the creator of a heap of Internet properties, has created a new Google Chrome extension called Unbaby.me, which rids your Facebook News Feed of baby photos completely – by replacing them with stuff you do want to see.
The extension uses a set of keywords to detect the baby photos. These keywords can also be customised if you find there is a particular type of baby photo most irritating that you wish of avoid.
The default setting changes the baby photos to pictures of cats, but can be customised to any tag or RSS feed you prefer. The stray baby may occasionally slip though the cracks, of course. But a single baby compared to a news feed flooded with them may be at least some relief.
“We just wanted to bring the obvious baby problem to light,” Baker told Mashable.
“A chrome extension seemed like the perfect way to do it.”
Clearly obvious indeed, Unbaby.me received over 2000 likes within 30minutes of being launched.
