Karl Says Her Royal Hotness Should Hide Her Face

Karl Says Her Royal Hotness Should Hide Her Face

Eccentric high-end designer Karl Lagerfeld has bemused everyone again with his remark that Pippa Middleton ‘struggles’. Of Pippa‘s sister Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, the 78-year-old designer said,

“I like that kind of woman. I like romantic beauties.”

“On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don’t like the sister’s face. She should only show her back.”

The 28-year-old who made headlines alongside her sister after her own wedding to Prince William for having one of the world’s most remarkably pert rear ends regularly attracts praise for her own demure, modern style.

Lagerfeld told Style.com last year that he ‘should think deeper and open (his) mouth not as quickly’, but his bluntly honest appraisal of Pippa‘s face is still not the only controversial comment the designer has made in recent times. Oddly, Lagerfeld also stated ”Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy.”

Lagerfeld also insulted British superstar Adele by calling her ‘too fat’ earlier this year and referred to former IMF boss and alleged sexual attacker Dominique Strauss-Kahn as ‘charming, fun, great and sweet – as long as you’re not a woman’.

Lagerfeld also told Style.com that he ‘could say what he thought’. Could, sure – but whether he still should is now a different matter altogether.
