Arkham City DLC Released – Harley Quinn's Revenge

Rocksteady’s Batman: Arkham City is unanimously renowned as one of the best superhero games ever made, along with its predecessor Arkham Asylum. Thankfully, the award winning franchise continues to please fans with new DLC, released this morning. Though it’s still fresh on the market, it has already been critically acclaimed as “what gamers deserve” in terms of downloadable content.

The DLC, entitled “Harley Quinn’s Revenge” adds an additional 2 hours to Batman: Arkham City, with Robin as the main playable character. Players had access to Robin in his previous downloadable challenges, but this is the first time fans will be able to really put his gadgets (shuriken inclusive) and his unique moves to the test.

Harley Quinn’s Revenge takes place in the Steel Mill – a familiar location within the game that the Joker once ruled over. Robin will be faced with hordes of thugs, some quirky collectables, and a range of new trophies and achievements. Unfortunately side-quests and the popular Riddler challenges aren’t an option, as the DLC is more of a stand-alone addition to the game’s menu.

Somewhat similar to the Catwoman DLC, Harley Quinn’s Revenge heavily ties in with the game’s storyline. It begins roughly 2 weeks after Arkham City’s ending, and follows the mystery disappearance of the Batman himself. Though the title is a dead give-away for the plot, the DLC is still genuinely surprising as it explores the reactions of the characters within the Arkham City universe, after the mind-blowing ending.

Those who have enjoyed Rocksteady’s Batman titles will undoubtedly enjoy this action-packed follow up DLC, retailing for $10.
